Long Business Description:

I’m a queer and disabled professional birth and abortion doula-activist serving in Northern Virginia and DC trained through toLabor. I am part of the disability community, and know that disabled parents and people with disabilities who want to be parents may face stigma from their communities, friends and family, and the medical industrial complex. My goal is to support these prospective parents through the ends of their pregnancies and during birth, ensuring the most loving, empowering, and beautiful birth experience possible. My scope of care includes emotional support, advocacy in medical settings, creating a safe space for all types of parents and all types of births, and assisting with comfort measures and physical support during labor and birth. I believe that all people should have access to doulas during pregnancy and birth, so I offer sliding scale fees for my doula service and will not turn any clients away due to their ability to pay. Please reach out to set up a consultation if you are interested in having a doula during your birth.
