Guide Dog Users, Inc.

GDUI assists its members, most of whom are blind and use guide dogs for independence and safety, with advice, empathy, advocacy, and other kinds of supportive services; in addition, GDUI provides public education regarding guide dogs and the many ways they assist people who are blind and visually impaired to lead independent lives. GDUI provides advocacy assistance to members and assists public officials who seek to promote and safeguard the civil rights of guide dog users, both in the USA and internationally. GDUI can provide information and support to individuals and their families regarding guide dogs and the rights and responsibilities of guide dog users.
