Toy free zone for blind motherThis mother has no peripheral vision due to retinitis pigmentosa and constantly trips over baby toys. So, she uses this long rug as a ‘no toy zone’ so she never has to look down there and always know it’s safe.

Transporting baby around house as a parent with a disabilityMother with Holt-Oram took a Dexbaby DayDreamer Infant Sleeper Seat and put it on top of a furniture moving dolly with wheels on the bottom, added wood pieces to the sides of the dolly (so the seat wouldn’t slide off) and attached a dog leash (with a loop for her hand) to the dolly so she could pull it. This is how she transported her daughter around the house when she was little.

Mother using her mouth to spoon feed babyThis mother couldn’t spoon feed with her hands, so, she created foam spoons. She could hold the spoon in her mouth and feed her baby independently.

Using a baby carrier as a wheelchair userThis mom used a papoose baby carrier to safely carry her baby while using a wheelchair.
