Disabled Parenting Project Message Boards › picking baby up 1 arm
so my first born will be here any time now and have been looking into how im going to pick her up safely..ive seen a cpl vids but what im really wondering is, has anyone ever sewed like a strap or 2 on the back of onesies so i could slide my hand in the strap and have more support? and like get my hand far enough up so i can support the head as i pick up also…TIA for any advice
My friend made me a ‘log carrier’. It’s great because the baby doesn’t have to wear anything special. It was great for picking her off the ground and even in and out of her swing. She’s now over 17 pounds, and I’m finding it pretty heavy to pick her up from the ground with one arm even using the ‘log carrier’
