Hello everyone! I was excited to find this site. I’m a single 36 year old disabled mother to a 12 year old disabled daughter. My daughter and I both have hereditary genetic illnesses: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome with Dysautonomia and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Mitochondrial Disease, and my daughter also has Autism and Anxiety. As well, my sister (who also has these genetic illnesses) and I are primary caregivers for our mother who has stage 4 breast cancer. So life is hard and chaotic. I’ve been in need of connecting with people who get it. I can’t wait to meet others.

Welcome to the site! What have been the biggest successes and challenges you have faced? How do you think your disability has strengthened your ability to raise your daughter?

The medical field has come together with the field of technology in an effort to use the strength of one to fend for the limitations of the other. One such development involves the development of lift chairs and mobility scooters for the use of the handicapped. You can check this products and makes life easier!
    May god bless you!
